The Azle Community Caring Center (CCC), established in 1990, is the primary food pantry for the Azle community and Northwest Tarrant County. It provides food and clothing to about 1,000 families monthly through its drive-thru pantry, free shop, hygiene corner, and three Azle ISD programs: the weekend backpack program, Emergency Assistance Fund, and Hornet After-School Program.

The Metroplex's rapid growth has led to a 70% increase in clients at the Caring Center, reaching 1,000 clients per month from 2020 to 2022. This surge has overwhelmed the center's existing facilities.

Our perspective:

M. Gale knew Campaign Readiness & Campaign Management Implementation and Campaign Coaching over one year and five months would help them reach their desired goal.

How we solved the challenge:

M. Gale and CCC partnered on a major gift campaign initiative to raise funds to renovate CCC’s food pantry to make it more efficient and prepare for expansion and future growth as well as remodel their main administration building.

· CCC experienced early campaign success by securing in-kind donations of upgraded refrigeration and freezer equipment.

· An enhanced HVAC system helped them on their journey to become more efficient in serving current clients and meeting the needs of future ones.

· M. Gale helped improve efficiency to better serve current clients.

· We provided tools to help them meet the needs of future clients.

Our client’s outcome:

At first, our team was overwhelmed by the prospect of seeking support beyond our small community to reach our campaign goal. However, working with M. Gale provided us with a clear framework to help us engage with foundations and run a successful campaign. As the Community Caring Center continues to grow rapidly, the tools and guidance from M. Gale have become invaluable in our journey forward.
