Established in 1985, Guardianship Services Inc. (GSI) provides assistance and support to at-risk adults in Tarrant County. GSI offers services in the following areas: guardianship, money management, financial exploitation prevention, benefits enrollment and savings.
Our perspective:
M. Gale planned a half-day retreat for the GSI Board. They designed a two-pronged focus during the retreat: board engagement pertaining to strategic plan implementation and re-envisioning the agency’s organizational structure. M. Gale provided professional board training and facilitation of key organizational priorities and goals.
How we solved the challenge:
The M. Gale Team reviewed the progress made toward the organization's strategic plan, discussing key milestones and identifying areas for further development.
We addressed the topic of board accountability, ensuring that all board members are aligned with organizational goals and are fulfilling their responsibilities effectively.
The team collaborated on creating innovative fundraising strategies to support upcoming initiatives and ensure the financial sustainability of the organization.
Additionally, we consulted on the recruitment of new board members, and how to seek individuals with diverse skills and expertise to enhance the overall effectiveness of the board.
